The Breeder Referral page is a way for our club members to list puppies
and adult Shelties they currently have available. While our breeders are
members in good standing of the Evergreen State Shetland Sheepdog Club,
the ESSSC, or its members, in no circumstances guarantees or warrants
their services or the quality or health of dogs purchased from them. It
is important to have a clear understanding with the breeder as well as a
contract. Our breeders require that dogs sold as pets will be spayed or
neutered.
Please feel free to contact the breeders at their websites below for possible future puppies or dogs that might be available but not listed here. Breeders often take names of prospective buyers for future litters.
Bringing a dog into the family is a long term commitment. Shelties are very social dogs and need to be in the house with their family at least part of the time. If you feel you are not ready for this commitment and responsibility, please be understanding and not take one in until you are ready.

MISSING SHELTIE - 2 yrs. old, large, neutered male, sable and white. He slipped his collar in Anacortes on Oct. 9, 2009 and ran away from his owners. He may have been picked up and taken out of the area. He is microchipped. His name is Bentley. The breeder will be the contact person for the owners, who have posted a reward and are still looking.
